Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 6, 2026

EdenMind (“we”, “us”) is a voice-first spaced-repetition flashcard app: you read a prompt, say the answer aloud, and EdenMind grades it on your device. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short because we collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the app:

  • Account information. Your email address and an encrypted password, used to create and secure your account.
  • Your study content. The stacks, cards, and hints you create.
  • Review activity. Your grades and review timestamps, used to schedule when each card is next due.

We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, audio recordings, or advertising identifiers, and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Microphone and voice

EdenMind’s voice review uses your device’s microphone to hear your spoken answer. Speech recognition and answer grading run entirely on your device using on-device models.

Your audio is processed in memory only — it is never saved to a file, never sent to us, and never shared with any third party. The microphone is active only while you are answering a card, and you can turn voice review off at any time in the app or revoke the microphone permission in your device settings.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to provide the app: to store your cards, schedule your reviews, sync your data across your devices, and respond to support requests you send us. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Where your data is stored

Your account and content are stored with Supabase, our hosting and database provider, on servers in the European Union. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is scoped to your account.

Notifications

If you turn on daily review reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. We do not operate a push-notification server and do not track whether reminders are delivered. You can turn reminders off anytime in the app or in your device settings.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. Deleting your account removes your cards, stacks, review history, and your authentication record. This cannot be undone.

Children

EdenMind is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will revise the “last updated” date above when we do, and significant changes will be reflected in the app.
